Sarah Cole Interiors offers comprehensive, full-service interior design solutions for residential projects across Newton, Brookline, Wellesley, Cambridge and greater Boston. We specialize in personalized design and offer everything from space planning to material selection, renovation management and installation. Our collaborative process ensures each space reflects your unique taste and lifestyle.

Our services fall into three categories: renovations, furnishing and decorating projects and consultations.

Renovations

Renovation projects are collaborative by nature and are typically completed in partnership with a licensed contractor and, ideally, an architect. These projects may include new construction, home additions, or full gut renovations of existing spaces. From the earliest design concepts through installation, we work closely with your build team to ensure every detail of the design plan is executed seamlessly and true to vision.

Furnishing & Decorating

Furnishing and decorating projects transform existing spaces without changing the home’s structure. These may include light cosmetic updates such as painting, wallpaper installation, or new lighting, but they do not require a contractor or permitting. Each project begins with thoughtful space planning and the development of a detailed design plan. From there, we manage purchasing, logistics, and installation—ensuring a cohesive, beautifully finished result.

Consultations

Because we focus on creating fully finished spaces, we don’t take on partial rooms or small updates. For homeowners seeking design guidance on a smaller scale, a consultation may be the perfect fit.

A consultation includes one to three meetings during which Sarah provides personalized advice and direction. This can include selecting paint colors, refining furniture layouts, or offering a fresh perspective on how to renovate or add space to your home. Clients manage their own purchasing and implementation following the consultation.

Consultations are billed at an hourly rate with a three-hour minimum. This allows adequate time for thoughtful preparation, discussion, and follow-up recommendations tailored to your home. Due to high demand and our focus on full-service projects, consultation availability is limited and scheduled on a first-come basis.
