Sarah Cole Interiors LLC ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through www.sarahcoleinteriors.com and in the course of working with you, how we use it, and who we share it with. We don't sell your personal information.
What we collect
When you contact us: your name, email, phone number, and anything you tell us in your message.
When you join our newsletter: your name and email address.
When you book a consultation: your name, contact details, home address, and your answers to our booking questionnaire about your home and project.
When you pay: consultation payments are processed by Stripe, and all project payments, including proposal deposits, retainers, design fees, merchandise, and other invoices, are processed through Studio Pay in Studio Designer. We see the payment amount and status. Your full card and bank account numbers are handled by these payment providers; we don't see or store them.
When we work together: project details, preferences, measurements, photos of your home, and selections we make with you.
When you visit our website: basic information such as your browser, device, pages viewed, and general location, collected automatically by our website platform.
How we use it
To respond to your questions and schedule consultations.
To prepare for visits, write proposals and estimates, and carry out your project.
To order furnishings and materials on your behalf and arrange delivery.
To bill you, process payments and refunds, and keep our business records.
To send our newsletter, if you've signed up.
To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.
Who we share it with
We share only what each party needs to do its part.
Squarespace hosts our website, newsletter, and online booking (Acuity Scheduling).
Stripe processes consultation payments and refunds.
Studio Designer is our project management and accounting software, including Studio Pay for all project payments.
Vendors and workrooms receive what they need to place orders, schedule deliveries, and complete installations.
Tradespeople receive your contact details when we refer you or coordinate work at your home.
Our bookkeeper and accountant receive billing records for bookkeeping and taxes.
We may also share information if required by law, or to protect our rights in a dispute. These providers handle your information under their own privacy policies.
Cookies and analytics
Our website platform, Squarespace, uses cookies to keep the site working and to give us basic visitor statistics. We don't use advertising trackers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well.
Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Keeping it safe
We limit access to client information to our team and the providers listed above, and we use reputable platforms to store it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.
We keep information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
Your choices
Newsletter: unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email.
Your information: email us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We'll respond within a reasonable time, keeping only what we're required to retain for tax or legal reasons.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with its effective date.
